Zinc air batteries are one of the most popular batteries for hearing aids. They are not charged, but powered. The sticker on the round batteries keeps them hermetically sealed. Removing the sticker will allow oxygen to enter the package and activate the batteries. Therefore, the sticker should only be removed when you want to start using the battery. After removing the sticker, you should wait two minutes before placing it in the hearing aid.
