This kit makes it easy to diagnose and quickly identify damage to the head gasket. If the head gasket or the head itself fails, some of the exhaust gas containing Co2 enters the cooling system.

Instructions for use:

1. Warm up the engine to an operating temperature of 80-90 °C (e.g. after driving or at least 10 minutes of idling).
2. Turn off the engine.
3. Wait 5 min.
4. Unscrew the coolant tank cap.
5. Insert the rubber cap into the filler hole of the tank (the cap must fit snugly against the tank).
6. Fill the reservoir with 2 ml of CONTROL TEST premium fluid.
7. Start the engine, then hold it at high rpm for about 1 minute to build up enough pressure.
8. Turn off the engine.
9. Check the color of the fluid in the reservoir: YELLOW OR GREEN COLOR INDICATES FAULTY GASKET OR CYLINDER HEAD. BLUE INDICATES THAT GASKET AND CYLINDER HEAD ARE WORKING.
